Step-by-Step Guide: How to Complete the Official Council Survey
The official survey is live on the YourSay Byron Shire website. This is Council’s platform where you can formally submit your feedback on the Developer Contributions Plan - including your priorities for Suffolk Park. The survey closes 10th March 2026
Step 1
Visit the Survey Page
Click the button below to access the official council "Have your Say" survey page. Then click on the TAKE THE SURVEY BUTTON.
This will take you directly to the Developer Contributions Plan Map & Survey.
Step 2
Follow the prompts
On the survey page you'll see a map of proposed projects & be prompted to choose your top priorities for Suffolk Park.
For example, under TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT, you could select TT21 - Clifford St/Broken Head Rd intersection upgrade.

Step 3
Suggest other projects
One the second page of the survey, you can make suggestions for other improvements not already on the proposed projects list. Simply type an address (e.g Clifford Street) then click the "Add Marker" button in the bottom right corner of the map. After you have added a marker, you'll be prompted to add your suggestions (e.g pedestrian crossing)
There are currently no pedestrian crossings shortlisted for Suffolk Park so if this is important to you, you may want to add some. You can suggest up to 5 projects.
Step 4
Enter details & submit
Complete the required fields by entering your name, selecting your suburb from the dropdown list & providing your email address. These details help Council confirm submissions are genuine & from local community members.
Once you submit the survey, you will receive confirmation that your response has been recorded.
