Connecting People. Protecting Place. Shaping Suffolk Park.
Building a stronger voice for Suffolk Park through community connection, evidence-based advocacy & local action.
Established in 1959, the Suffolk Park Progress Association was formed by local residents seeking to advocate for the needs of a growing coastal community & help shape the future of Suffolk Park.
Over the decades, the organisation has played an ongoing role in supporting local infrastructure improvements, community initiatives, environmental advocacy & engagement with Council on issues affecting residents.
In 2026, the organisation transitioned to Suffolk Park Community Association (SPCA), reflecting the evolving ways communities connect, participate & work together while continuing the strong foundation built by previous committees, volunteers & community members.
We exist to understand, represent & advocate for the needs, aspirations & wellbeing of the Suffolk Park community. Our role isn't to speak for the community. It's to create opportunities for the community to speak for itself.
